Its &#8220;home&#8221; bacteria feed on agar-agar, a gelatin obtained from seaweed. At the beginning of the process, the culture medium becomes liquid, but by the time Klingler adds bacteria to grow, it begins to solidify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"http:\/\/desres20.netornot.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/JanKlingler-Bacteria-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7305\" srcset=\"http:\/\/desres20.netornot.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/JanKlingler-Bacteria-3.jpg 800w, http:\/\/desres20.netornot.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/JanKlingler-Bacteria-3-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/desres20.netornot.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/JanKlingler-Bacteria-3-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/desres20.netornot.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/JanKlingler-Bacteria-3-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The colors are provided either by food or by the bacteria themselves, for example, the serratia bacterium (such as live in the human mouth) gives an orange-red color. When the desired effect is achieved, the biomaterial discs are sealed to deprive the cultures of oxygen and stop their growth. The resin plates are then connected to the LED disk or module.
